Geosage is a geospatial analytics platform that aggregates multi-spectral satellite imagery (Sentinel, Landsat) to track deforestation, urban sprawl, coastline erosion, and carbon credit projects.
As Lead Designer, I architected the map canvas interactions, layer opacity blending, and time-lapse playback controls to make multi-terabyte spatial datasets effortless to explore.
Chapter 02— The Challenge
Rendering millions of vector polygons without browser lag or interface chaos.
Traditional desktop GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) has steep learning curves and overwhelming toolbars with hundreds of nested sub-menus.
Our goal was building a browser-based GIS interface that provides spatial scientists full precision over spectral band combinations while enabling commercial analysts to generate automated change-detection reports in 3 clicks.

Spatial interaction mapping, floating toolbars, and GPU-accelerated layer controls.
